Registration is still open to all players for our fall season of Recreational Soccer and Global Youth League, which begin Saturday, September 7th. Please note that some age groups are waitlisted, but we will be moving people off the waitlist by August 31st. There is immediate space available at Patterson Park, Mullaly Park, and some divisions at Macombs Dam Park:

Macombs Dam Field: coed ages 4-5, girls ages 6-7, and boys ages 8-15
Mullaly Park: girls ages 8-19 and boys ages 16-19
Patterson Park: boys and girls ages 6-12

South Bronx United will host its 10th Anniversary Benefit on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 at the Museum of the City of New York. The organization will honor Sunil Gulati and Courtney and Paul Levinsohn for their support across industries in using sport as a tool for social change. The event will raise funds for the organization’s youth development programs that reach more than 1,200 young people and their families each year, combining soccer programming with academic enrichment, college support, mentoring, immigration legal services, and other support services. Tickets can be purchased here. South Bronx United is hosting ID clinics for all youth born from 2002-2010 beginning on August 12 (Girls born 2002-2010), August 15 (Boys born 2002-2005), and August 27 (Boys born 2006-2010), . ID Clinics are an opportunity for all youth in the South Bronx and surrounding areas to experience a practice session from one of South Bronx United's coaching staff. Some players may be invited to attend a practice with one of our competitive travel teams in the Select Soccer or SBU Academy programs. Five high school girls and one alumna from the SBU Academy with student-athletes from City in the Community's Youth Leadership Council traveled to Lyon, France for streetfootballworld Festival 19. The summit coincided with the FIFA Women's World Cup and brought together young leaders from around the world to explore the power of using soccer to promote gender equality. In addition to streetfootballworld, we want to thank the Mia Hamm Foundation for supporting our delegation to Festival 19, helping to make this amazing opportunity possible!
